    GALENA–Neil Joseph Wand, 77, of Galena, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

    A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 22, at Church of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elizabeth. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Elizabeth. 

    A memorial visitation will be held from 10-10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 22, at Church of St. Mary Catholic Church prior to the Mass.

    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Neil’s memory.

    CALEDONIA, Minn.–Dorothea “DeeDee” Moser, 85, of Caledonia, Minn., formerly of Galena, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at Caledonia Care and Rehab.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Caledonia, with the Rev. Steven Meyer officiating. Luncheon will follow and graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Galena.

    Visitation will be from 8:30-10 a.m. on Tuesday morning before the service at the church.

    Miller and Steinke Galena Chapels were in charge of arrangements.
